In Class 3 we learn about lots of interesting and important things. This year’s topics are:

Summer 1

Changes in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age

Locational Knowledge

Roman Empire and its impact on Britain

Would you have survived the Stone Age?

If you had a Magic Carpet where would you fly to?

Could you be the next Julius Ceasar?

  Autumn 2

Spring 2

Summer 1

Forces, Magnets & Light

Animals, including humans & Plants

In Maths we often use computer programs, websites and games to help us understand maths work. The children in class 3 are taught maths by Mrs Clemmet, Mrs Brown and Mrs McGlynn.

In the Autumn term we were lucky enough to have Craig Archer in school teaching us tag rugby skills for tournaments. In the Spring term we had Sam Brown coming in to dance and after Christmas we had Joanne Swash for Gymnastics. In the Summer term Craig Archer is coming back to do some athletics.  So we have had a very busy, active year.

We need to remember to read at home at least three times a week, if we do then a raffle ticket is entered into our weekly reading raffle.  Amazing prizes to be won!

We also need to practice our weekly spellings which are given out on a Tuesday and tested the following Tuesday.

Each week we need to do at least one piece of homework either on DB/Active learn or for more practical work choose something from the homework sheet.
