Attendance

Attending school is an important part of a child's development. Our school is a great place to come and learn! Our aim is for the whole school to have an attendance rate of 96% or above.

To encourage excellent attendance in school children are awarded each half term with a certificate, badge and pencil if they have 100% attendance.

Every half term is a new start for the children to try to achieve 100% which means that even if a child has been absent the previous half term they can still receive a certificate and award!

In the fourth half term leading up to Easter we had 40 children who achieved this.

At the end of the school year, any child who has had a full year's 100% attendance, will receive a 'special' certificate and voucher.

Being on time for school is also an important part of a child's education.  The class with the best punctuality is awarded with a certificate and 'Early Bear' at Teampoint assembly.

Please see documents below relating to attendance and punctuality.
